A Little on the Personal Side:

  • If you weren’t an author, what would you be? GIGGING/RECORDING ROCK”N”ROLL GUITARIST
  • What do you love most about writing? What do you not like? LIKE: IT’S FREE.  DISLIKE: SEEING LESS-WORTHWHILE WORKS SUCCEED.
  • Do you have a favorite place to write? IN MY OWN HOME — I CAN CONTROL THE ENVIRONMENT.(TEMPERATURE, MUSIC, ETC)

A Little on the Professional Side:

  • Where do you draw your inspiration from? ’40s, ’50s MATINEE SERIALS AND MOVIES (FLASH GORDON, COMMANDO CODY, ETC),

COMIC BOOKS

  • Of all of the characters you have written, which has been your favorite? Why? Least favorite? Why? ACTUALLY, TWO ARE MY FAVORITES (AND PRACTICALLY WRITE THEMSELVES): HERO EDDIE ATOMIC, WHOSE SENSES OF FAIRNESS AND JUSTICE I SHARE, AND PILOT SPUNKY — HE’S OFTEN READY WITH A WISECRACK. I HAVE THAT SENSE OF HUMOR, TOO.

NO “LEAST FAVORITE.”

Who is your ideal reader? MY BOOKS ARE INTENDED TO APPEAL TO TWO AUDIENCES: OLDER READERS WILL RECOGNIZE AND APPRECIATE THE RETRO VIBE. AND FOR YOUNGER READERS, THE G-RATED TONE IS COMFORTABLE. (AND THAT’S DOUBTLESS A SELLING POINT FOR ADULTS LOOKING FOR BOOK PURCHASES FOR CHILDREN, TOO.)
